TradeWinds Construction builds the woodwork that turns a plain room into the room people ask about. Built in bookcases and media walls. Window seats with storage. Coffered and box beam ceilings. Wainscoting, board and batten, shiplap done cleanly, and mantels that anchor a room.
It's furniture grade work installed as part of the house. We build square, scribe to your walls, and sweat the details you only notice when they're missing. Eased edges. Reveals that line up. Doors that close soft and straight.

Newer homes in Viera and West Melbourne come with big flat empty walls, which makes them a blank canvas for a media wall or a coffered ceiling. Older houses in Eau Gallie and Vero are a different job. There we work around plaster, corners that aren't square, and character worth keeping.

Questions about custom woodwork & built ins
Do you design the built ins or do I need drawings?
Either way works. Most folks start with photos of what they like. We measure your wall, sketch a layout, and agree on the details before material gets ordered. Depth, door style, lighting, outlets, all of it settled up front.
Painted or natural wood?
Painted maple or poplar suits most coastal interiors and hides joints well. Natural white oak and other hardwoods cost more and show the craft. We build both. If you're on the fence we'll price it both ways.
Can you add lighting and outlets inside built ins?
Yes. We plan for puck lights, LED strips, and outlets for a media wall from day one. Nothing gets cut into a finished cabinet as an afterthought.
