We also repair and replace soffit and fascia, which on this coast is usually the first wood to go. Catch rotten fascia early and it's a small job. Ignore it and the rot moves into the roof edge.

Questions about siding installation
Fiber cement or vinyl?
Fiber cement costs more and performs like it. Takes paint beautifully, resists rot, looks like wood from the curb. Vinyl costs less and never needs paint. We'll show you both on real samples and price your house both ways.
Can you replace just the damaged side of the house?
Yes. Weather rarely wears all four walls evenly, and replacing the worst side now is a fair way to stage the cost. We'll match profiles and colors as close as available product allows.
Do you find rot when you open up walls?
Sometimes, especially at the bottom courses and around windows. When we do, we show you, price the fix plainly, and repair the sheathing before new siding goes on. Covering rot with new material is not a job we'll do.
