Fences built straight, set deep, and made to last

A fence is a simple thing to build and an easy thing to build badly. Posts set shallow lean over in the first good blow. Panels racked instead of stepped look wrong on a sloped yard forever.

TradeWinds Construction builds wood privacy fences, vinyl fences, and aluminum picket fences across Brevard and Indian River counties. Posts get set deep in concrete. Lines get pulled tight and straight. And the gates, the part every fence gets judged by, get framed to swing true for years instead of months.

We'll also tell you straight what the right fence is for your yard. Vinyl if you never want to touch it again. Wood where the budget or the look leads. Aluminum where you want the pool fenced without hiding the view.

We know these houses

Big rural lots in Grant-Valkaria and Malabar call for long straight runs and wide drive gates. In Sebastian Highlands and Palm Bay neighborhoods it's usually privacy runs between close neighbors, where a straight line and a clean transition matter most.

Questions we hear

Questions about fencing

How deep do you set fence posts?

Deep enough for the wind we actually get here. As a rule, our posts go well past the depth a weekend fence gets, set in concrete, with gate posts heavier and deeper still. You notice the difference after the first tropical system rolls through.

Do you handle property lines and utility marking?

We build to the lines you establish, and we call in utility locates before we dig. If you're not sure of your exact line, a survey before the fence goes in is money well spent, and we're happy to wait for it.

Wood, vinyl, or aluminum, what lasts longest here?

Aluminum and vinyl outlast wood in Florida sun and rain and never need staining. Good pressure-treated wood still makes a handsome, budget-friendly privacy fence if you accept some upkeep. We'll price your yard in more than one material if you're weighing it.
